My husband and I stayed in the enchanting ESCONDIDA and enjoyed the Mexican decor, view, dunk pool, well outfitted outdoor kitchen. Close to town, beach, good restaurants. Had a feel of privacy with the tropical plants between our patio and the street. Received service immediately when we requested and staff were available, friendly and professional. Hot water was an issue but we will return in spite of that. Was a perfectly lovely get away.
Very beautiful place, stayed in Buena Vida and the room was clean and nicely renovated. AC worked great, running water in the shower never got very hot but it was so hot outside in May we didn’t mind. Some of the steps are very steep with no hand railings, can be a bit tiring going up - not recommended if you have mobility issues. Overall great service, wonderful location and staff was amazing.
We just checked out of Villa Amor It is an absolutely beautiful property… much larger than expected actually. Service was wonderful, maid service excellent. Sayulita is such a magical little city. Literally workers singing in the streets… the most amazing food. My only complaint is the uncomfortable bed. In a suite that is so beautiful and romantic it was sad to have a bed as hard as a board. The linens were also sub par for what they are charging. Our en suite pool was also not heated and hard to get much hot water from the shower. We were still very happy because of the beautiful ambiance and service. It was warm enough that our shower was good enough. I just hope they do upgrade the beds so we may return. LOVED our stay at villa amor. It honestly made our trip to Sayulita Tons of areas to hang out, lovely pools and restaurant. The staff were so helpful and nice. The room and our views were outstanding. The rooms were so quiet and peaceful. Such a beautiful hotel I’d go back 100%.

Well… we absolutely loved staying at Villa Amor - The Mi Amor Suite. The space was beautifully breathtaking. The pool is wonderful, gets the perfect amount of sunlight. The geckos and lemurs are cute. Get a massage at the jungle spa!! Befriended some awesome tourists. Borrowed a surfboard and a paddle-board. It’s close to town. Every single staff member was kind and welcoming. Our three day experience was 3x better than our all inclusive stay an hour South. We will definitely be back Do it… Book this place!
Beautiful location just a few minutes walk to Sayulita bars and restaurants. Variety of rooms and villas. Villas and larger rooms sometimes have small bedrooms with AC and the rest of the villa under cover with open air. In hot and humid months you may need a private dipping pool or all inside room so make sure you check the room type before you spend big for the larger villas/rooms. Hillside terraces allow mostly secluded patios and private pools. Great view of ocean, beach and local fishing. Eduardo at the front desk was so helpful resolving a misunderstanding with 3rd party airport transfer company, extra towels, directions, and recommendations. Service is top notch.
Beautiful hotel, the best location right on the shore. Rooms were very clean and well stocked. Great service. Pool was lovely. Will stay here again for sure.
